Ch 33-40

Last week I accidentally added a chapter to the reading, so some of you may be a chapter ahead. Unlike me, who is now almost 20 chapters behind. Oh well, shipmates. I'm just the pilot. Leading from the rear, so to speak.

Well...that got weird! Ch 40 was where I stopped trying to figure out what Melville thought he was doing, and decided to go along for the ride. Why are we head-hopping? Who are these people? I don't care!
