I'm about to start chapter 48, but I don't mind waiting another week if people need more time.

And I would NEVER fling my flukes in despair. I'd relieve my frustrations by maliciously bumping into a boatload of whalers, instead.

I...uh...kind of accidentally finished? I couldn't help it! My iron got stuck and I was pulled along in the white whale's wake! Until 3 a.m. The end was still a shock even though it shouldn't have been, because of foreshadowing and cultural osmosis. I'm glad you had this idea, Peter Coffin Mod Nonnie!
